The Global STEM Education Center
Join our regular Roundtable for a discussion of global science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education led by our Board of Directors members and our founder and President.
We are bringing together the leaders and practitioners of Global Education from Massachusetts and the nation for a discussion of important new developments in public policy and how innovative Global STEM education programs are impacting these developments.
Join our discussions of “whys, whats and hows” for educating for 21st century. “The “why” is obvious. Learning without context or real-world understanding does not prepare students to be global citizens and leaders. The “how” is more difficult; there is a need for a systemic way to engage students in a curriculum that focuses on cultural literacy, language acquisition, and international preparedness, thus creating global-ready 21st century citizens” ("Young: Global Competency: P21’s Call to Action" by David Young on July 16, 2014 Volume 1, Issue 6, No. 10 "Partnership for 21st Century").
